Take dinner to the next level with this barbecued bacon wrapped pork chops! They are tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor!
Next time you are at the grocery store get a boneless pork loin. I found some on sale this past week for $1.49 a pound! The one I got was almost 3 pounds, so $4.37 is what I paid for the whole thing. I was able to cut 9 pork chops out of it! They were thick too because no one wants a dry pork chop. This is such a great way to feed a lot of people for a little amount. When you cut them yourself you get to choose the thickness and the quality is much better than the precut ones. It’s also super easy to freeze extra ones to use for another time. So next time you see boneless pork loin on sale, grab a couple extra for the deep freeze!
These are best made with your favorite barbecue sauce. I prefer a thicker consistency because it stays on the pork chops a lot better while they are cooking. Mine is my mother in laws recipe. She is the barbecue sauce queen. All of her recipes are fantastic, but my favorite one has to be this one. You can find the recipe here- Homemade Barbecue Sauce {VIDEO} – Miss in the Kitchen

Do you remove the fat cap and silver skin first ?

If your piece of meat has that, yes, I would remove the silver skin. I would leave some of the fat because that helps keep is moist and flavorful.
