Slices of tender brisket coated in barbecue sauce topped with creamy coleslaw and crispy fried onion strings. This BBQ beef brisket sandwich is what dreams are made of!
This sandwich is everything you want and more when that barbecue craving hits! The combination of all the flavors and textures is indescribable. This would be my death row meal all the way.
Beef brisket is a large cut of meat and there are always lots of leftovers when we grill one. Repurposing that meat into something new that doesn’t just taste like what you had for dinner the past few nights can be a challenge. That’s why I love the sandwich route. The combinations that you can do are endless.
I purposely chose not to put amount of how much coleslaw, barbecue sauce, and fried onion strings in the recipe card because you should put as little or as much as you want. You can’t screw this sandwich up. Sometimes I load it up with the fried onion strings and do just a small amount of coleslaw or vice versus. It’s fantastic either way!
