Coca-Cola pot roast turns out fork tender, flavorful and juicy every time! Only five ingredients and little effort to make.
My mom and stepdad came to visit us a few weeks ago and they brought us two giant coolers of beef. Happy day! It was a late night when they put it into our freezer, so I didn’t get to organize it and see what cuts of meat there are. I finally got to sort through it, and I knew first thing I wanted to use was this 5-pound chuck roast. We hadn’t had a roast in many months, and I knew with how busy life is right now with building our house addition having some extra food ready to eat would be beneficial.
This is the best way to cook a chuck roast. The roast doesn’t end up tasting like the Coca-Cola, but it makes the meat so tender and flavorful.
The best part about cooking a large roast is the number of meals you can make out of it or freeze it for later. I like to make tacos, Beef Pot Pie and Pulled Pork Hand Pies but substitute the ground beef for this shredded beef. The meal options are endless!
