These easy baked meatballs are so tender and flavorful! They go great on pasta or on a sandwich.
Meatballs are a great way to stretch a pound of meat to feed many people. This recipe makes 24 meatballs with one pound of meat. You could easily make 6 large meatball sandwiches or 6 large servings of spaghetti with meatballs.
The key to a good meatball is to not over mix them, to not overcook them and when rolling them into a ball to not over pack them. Otherwise, they are tough, dense, and dry which nobody wants that!
If you wanted to you could skip the spaghetti sauce and cook the meatballs by themselves or you could cook them in your favorite barbecue sauce. If you cooked them by themselves, you could easily freeze them to use for a quick meal another time! You can double the recipe, so you have some to eat fresh and some extra to freeze for later.
