I’m a big ice cream fan, like half of my freezer is all ice cream. Don’t worry, it’s not all just for me, I do share with my kids and husband! I gravitate towards fruity favors more so than chocolatey ones. I find them to be too rich and heavy. Fruity ones I could eat the whole container in one sitting. My youngest son is the only one who would agree with me on this one though.
Peaches and mangoes are in season right now. I got a bunch from the grocery store since I don’t grow them and there isn’t a farmers’ market here that had them. I’m hoping this next spring I can get some peach trees planted since they do grow well in my area. The fresh fruit adds the most incredible sweetness that can’t be compared to frozen fruit.
I recently discovered white peaches and I can’t believe the taste difference compared to the yellow ones. They are sweeter, and I think they just taste better. Out of the dozens I have bought and from multiple different locations, I haven’t had a bad one! I don’t think I’ll buy yellow one’s ever again. If you haven’t tried them, you need to!
This treat is so quick and easy to make! I like to make these with my magic bullet blender since it is so easy to clean. You can use any type of blender though.
