Peanut butter bars are a chocolate and peanut butter delight! They are no bake and just five ingredients to make this irresistible dessert.
Growing up, my family always called these Muscle Bars. I’m assuming it is because they actually have a lot of good nutrients in them like protein. I thought everyone called them this until I went to searching on Pinterest and muscle cars would pop up instead. Most recipes have these made with graham crackers. Not these!
These resemble a Reece’s. These are way cheaper, better for you, and taste just as good though. The peanut butter layer is such a creamy, light, and meltable texture and then with the hard chocolate it is the perfect combination.
I’ve always made these around the holidays, but they would be great year around. The fact that they are simple, effortless to make, and no bake makes them one of my favorite recipes. They are best kept in the refrigerator until served.
Ingredients
- Creamy Peanut Butter
- Powdered Sugar
