Foil packets always make me think of camping. Putting the packet in the fire to cook supper was our go-to method. You can cook just about anything this way. Plus, no dishes!
This vegetable packet tastes like you put a lot of effort and money into it. The way the flavors blend together when cooking them all together like this is so good!
The Greek Freak Seasoning is by Spiceology and I highly recommend getting a large tub of it! It goes good on vegetables and proteins. They sell it on Amazon, yes please! They have tons of other seasonings that are good too but this one is by far my favorite.
Balsamic Margarita Flank Steak, Lemon Pepper Chicken, and Grilled Pork Burgers are just a few main dishes this foil packet would pair well with.
Ingredients
- Russet Potatoes
- Baby Carrots
- Yellow Onion
- Butter
- Greek Freak Seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
- Roll out two pieces of foil and put them in an X pattern.
- Wash and dry the potatoes and carrots.
- Peel the onion.
- Chop the potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
- Chop the baby carrots in half.
- Peel and chop the onion into 1-inch pieces.
- Add the chopped vegetables to the middle of the foil.
- Cut the butter into small cubes. Spread them throughout the vegetables.
- Sprinkle the seasoning onto the vegetables. Toss them with your hands until seasoning is evenly distributed.
- Wrap up the foil well around the vegetables to where you couldn’t be able to dump them out if you turned the packet over.
- Place over direct heat on the grill. Cook for 45 minutes or until the potatoes and carrots are fork tender.
