There is nothing better to pair with a roast or steak than some slightly sweet, crispy, and salty sweet potatoes!
If I had to have one side dish for the rest of my life, it would be sweet potatoes in some form. They go great with any protein and have such a delicious flavor unlike anything else. Surprisingly sweet potatoes have been cheaper than russet potatoes lately, so I’ve been grabbing the sweet ones every time.
I turn to my air fryer more than any other appliance during the warm months. If you don’t have one, you should get one! It doesn’t heat up your house and it cooks your food much faster. I have the Chefman 4.6-quart air fryer and love it! It’s super user friendly and it fits my family of four. The number of things you can cook in it are endless and they always turn out excellent.
My favorite way to use it is when I want something crispy, like sweet potatoes. The crispy outside with the tender middle with the caramelized brown sugar is the ultimate combination. These is the easiest way to make them, and you don’t have to tend to them. Shake the air fryer basket halfway between cooking and that’s it. The perfect busy weeknight side dish that everyone will love.
