Prepare the best dinner for your family by making these super easy grilled chili lime T-bone steaks! Simple and so delicious.
I have been trying to prepare as many meat centered meals as possible lately. Our freezer is plum full. I am super thankful we have so much food to feed our family for many many months but sometimes it can be overwhelming. Opening the freezer and not being able to see what all is in it because well I forgot to organize it before we butchered the pig, so I’ve just been picking what is on top.
Steak is definitely a meat centered meal. My kids have expensive taste and like the fancy steaks of course. When I saw these T-bone steaks in the freezer, I knew that’s what I wanted to cook next. I love all things Mexican food, so of course I wanted to season these with a Mexican flare. They turned out amazing! So tender and flavorful.
I would recommend cooking these medium rare. They have the best texture and so juicy and tender without being under cooked. I used to like my steak done well. I know, gross. I’m so glad I don’t prefer them that way anymore because boy was I ruining a good thing! Funny how our tastes change as we age. What’s something you liked or preferred when you were younger but don’t anymore or vice versus? Let me know in the comments!
