These zesty ranch zucchini chips made in the dehydrator are a crunchy delight that even the kids will think is junk food!
Chips are an essential in our household. From plain tortilla chips to Cheetos to Doritos, we like them all. My kids love them too. Unfortunately, they aren’t the healthiest snack option. These dehydrated zucchini chips are though! They aren’t cooked in oil, so the high fat content isn’t there. That doesn’t mean they lack in tastiness though! My kids gobble these up just as they would store bought chips. I feel a lot better about them eating these because I know exactly what’s in them. Plus, if they want to eat more than a serving, that is okay!
The cool thing about these chips is that they will keep a lot longer than store bought ones, like years! This is a great way to use an abundance of zucchini to enjoy at a later time when zucchini isn’t readily available.
I love using old spaghetti sauce jars from the store to store my dehydrated goods. I like that they are clear so you can see what’s inside easily, plus they are good quality jars. You already paid for the jar, might as well keep it!
