This is such a fun dessert that your kids can totally make all by themselves. The perfect spring break activity if you ask me! Let them choose what colors to make the pudding and what variety of Easter sprinkles to use and they will be extra excited about it.
I love a holiday dessert that the kids can help with and then will equally enjoy eating. You can’t mess up this dessert. Let them color the pudding however they like and layer the ingredients in any order, either way it will turn out so cute and yummy!

Ingredients
- Boxed White Cake Mix
- Vegetable Oil
- Eggs
- Easter Sprinkles
- Instant Vanilla Pudding
- Milk
- Vanilla Wafers
- Food Coloring
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- Follow the directions of the cake mix box once the batter is fully mixed, stir in 4 tablespoons of sprinkles then bake accordingly. Set the cake on a cooling rack to cool off. Once it’s fully cooled, cut into 1-inch squares.
- While the cake is cooling, make the pudding. Whisk the milk into the pudding packet until it thickens to the proper consistency. Separate it into 3 different bowls. Start with one drop of the desired food coloring to each bowl. I did green, pink, and yellow. Stir until it is well combined. Refrigerate until you are ready to assemble and serve the trifle.
- In your trifle bowl or cups, start with a layer of pudding, then vanilla wafers, then cake and repeat. Alternate between your pudding colors for each layer. Top it off with some Easter sprinkles. Serve or store in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap.
