These homemade granola bars are chewy, soft, and made with simple ingredients like old fashioned oats, peanut butter, honey, and chocolate.
Having some kind of snack bar in my pantry is a given at all times. I have noticed the quality and nutritional value or lack thereof. I knew going homemade was the answer for quality control. These are so incredibly easy to make it is worth the effort to just make them yourself. They are so yummy and a great snack to have on hand.
These are very adult and kid friendly. My husband and I eat just as many if not more of these than our kids do. We don’t eat store bought bars, but we love these. The quality and taste are not even comparable.
This recipe is very forgiving. If you would like to leave out the chocolate or use mini chocolate chips you can. They will still turn out great. You could also use crunchy peanut butter if you want to add a little crunch to these.
