Ninja Creami Orange Ice Cream

Growing up I have fond memories with my family indulging in vanilla ice cream mixed together with orange Tang and a splash of milk. It was my favorite. Such a delicious, but simple treat that we ate pretty regularly.

I was telling my husband about it the other day and how I couldn’t believe I hadn’t had one in so many years. He had never done that! I knew I had to get some orange Tang as soon as possible so he could try it. He was a fan of Tang as a kid in the drink form, so I knew he would love this.

So, there is the inspiration for this recipe! A dessert that is nostalgic, at least to me it is! I love making recipes that make me think of those good times growing up. I’m excited to see what memories really stick with my kids and recipes they share with their family. It makes me thankful I love to cook because so many amazing memories are made around the kitchen table.
