Fresh grapefruit juice and strawberry jam mixed together and then froze to make this Ninja Creami grapefruit sorbet. A slightly sour and sweet treat.
I bet you are wondering why I’m posting a sorbet recipe in the middle of December. Did you know grapefruit are actually a winter fruit? Their growing season is right now so they taste the best right now. Cold treats are enjoyed year around in my house, so I knew I needed to try a grapefruit recipe while they are at their best quality!
This sorbet is so refreshing and just so yummy. The strawberry jam adds a nice subtle flavor and sweetness to the mixture. It is so easy to make and is suitable to serve after any meal.
One of my favorite ways to enjoy this sorbet it to put it in a drinking glass and top if off with some sprite. Stir the sorbet into the sprite for the best holiday drink!
