Apple cinnamon oatmeal bake is an effortless breakfast that smells heavenly while it bakes. A family friendly dish that is filling and flavorful.
Autumn has finally arrived, and that means it is apple season! I have two apple trees, but I don’t think they will produce any fruit this year. They are young trees, we just planted them this spring. Maybe next fall I’ll be picking apples out of my yard!
Picking apples is such a fun activity in itself let alone then getting to enjoy the treat of a fresh apple afterwards. Apples are a great fruit to go picking for because you usually end up with a large amount. They keep great on the counter or can easily be made into several different kind of canned goods. Apple pie filling, applesauce, and apple butter are just a few off the top of my head.
With a few of the fresh apples I would most definitely use them to make this oatmeal bake. It only takes about 3 apples for this recipe, and it tastes amazing! My second favorite thing about this recipe is the way it makes your house smell while it bakes. It’s better than a candle! It’s a super family friendly recipe, and it uses kitchen staple ingredients so you most likely won’t need to run to the store to make it.
