Barbecue bacon pigs in a blanket are the ultimate appetizer. Only four ingredients, easy to make and taste out of this world!
Pigs in a blanket is such a classic appetizer. I make them frequently for lunch or a snack. I love the classic version, but I wanted to make something that was a bit more flavorful and more filling. These were just that! The barbecue sauce added a nice touch of sweetness that complimented the bacon and lit’l smokies really well. The bacon made these heartier and added delicious flavor as well. These are a meat lovers delight.
You can use any kind of flavor of barbecue sauce for these. I used my mother in laws homemade barbecue sauce recipe. It is our family’s favorite. My husband dipped these in ranch dressing which he said was really good. I would recommend serving them with barbecue sauce or ranch.
This appetizer is one of my new top favorites and it is a real crowd pleaser! They are perfect for parties, tailgates, weddings, barbecues, you name it. Pair them with some of these other appetizers for the ultimate party food spread.
