This caramel corn is sweet and crunchy and way better than any store-bought kind! It is so easy to make and irresistibly delicious.
This caramel corn is the perfect gift for those that are hard to shop for. It is great for teachers, coworkers, friends, and neighbor gifts also. It is inexpensive to make, and you can make multiple batches in an afternoon. Put some in cute glass jars or metal tins and you have yourself a thoughtful gift that anyone would be happy to recieve!
If you want to take your edible gift to the next level, you could make Puppy Chow and or Cut Out Sugar Cookies and put all three delicious homemade goodies in your metal tin or jar to make it that much more special.
As an adult I can appreciate a good homemade gift. You know the thought and effort was there and no clutter. Win, win!
There are a few different ways you can pop your popcorn kernels for this. You can pop them on the stove top, in a paper bag in the microwave, in an air popcorn machine, or in a temperature safe glass microwave popcorn popper. I used the glass one I ordered from Amazon for $15 and it worked great! My mom prefers the air machine. Use whatever works best for you.
When stored in an airtight container, this will keep fresh for several weeks.
