Cinnamon Raisin French Toast is a delicious twist on a classic. The perfect main course for breakfast or brunch!
French toast is one of those breakfast items that if you aren’t careful, you eat way too much because it just tastes so good! This version is no exception. It is not too sweet, but it definitely feels like dessert for breakfast. It is such a delicious treat.
Every weekend I like to make something a little more special for breakfast for my family since I have time for it. I usually choose between biscuits and gravy, Apple Cider Pancakes, Peach Fritter Bites, or French toast. Whenever I choose French toast, I like to change up the bread I use since it changes the taste.
I had never had cinnamon raisin French toast until I made it for the blog! Wow had I been missing out. I buy cinnamon raisin bread all the time, but the idea to make it into something else never occurred to me until two days ago. HAHA. Not sure if I will make it any other way, it’s just so good.
This French toast pairs well with all your breakfast favorites like hashbrowns, eggs, sausage, bacon, and fruit.
