Turn your fresh apples into dehydrated cinnamon apple chips. They are the most delicious, but healthy snack. Enjoy them by the handful guilt free!
Dehydrating fruit when it is on sale, or when I have a surplus is my favorite way to save on my grocery bill. For one, it reduces waste, and for two, it’s a fun and easy way to make new snacks. With two kids that could live on snacks, we go through them quickly.
These dehydrated cinnamon apple chips taste like candy. So sweet and addictive. I let my kids eat as many as they want since they are all natural! These are a great alternative to fruit snacks or chips sold at the store.
Since these are dehydrated until crunchy, they are shelf stable. Store them in an airtight container like a glass mason jar and vacuum seal it closed, and they will keep for years! A great way to store up some high-quality food for a rainy day.
This recipe is super forgiving. Use whatever kind of apples you like or have on hand. Use as much cinnamon or as little cinnamon as you’d like. Make them to your likes.
