Kitchen staple ingredients combined to make the most delicious homemade ranch dressing. The perfect dipping sauce for vegetables and meats.
Anybody else’s kids eat more dipping sauce than the actual meal itself. Because same. At least when I serve them this homemade ranch, I can feel okay about them eating so much of it. It has less than half the calories of store bought, and it doesn’t contain any mystery ingredients.
When my kids were really little, like 1 year old, both my boys had allergic reactions to ranch. Nothing scary thankfully they just would get really red around their mouth, and the skin looked irritated. As they got older, they outgrew it, but I always wonder if I had made this homemade kind if it wouldn’t have bothered them. I guess I’ll never know, but I would almost bet it would have been just fine. I’m so thankful no one in my family has a food allergy, because I can’t imagine how hard it would be to not be able to include certain ingredients in recipes. Some things there just isn’t a good substitute. Like cheese. Nothing can replace cheese ha-ha.
My family and I love to dip my Fried Chicken Tenders in this ranch. Any kind of pizza is really good dipped in this as well. Make this to go in the center of a vegetable tray or alongside the dinner salad.
This recipe makes a small batch, so it is easy to store in the refrigerator. It keeps well in the refrigerator as well for many weeks. So no worries about it going bad before you can finish it.
