Five ingredients and three hours and you have the most tender and flavorful oven baked pork spare ribs! These are a must try.
If you have been looking for a super easy fool proof recipe for pork spare ribs, then look no further! Minimal ingredients, no special tricks or tools, just plain, simple and delicious!
They are cooked low and slow so that the fat in them render which is what makes them nice and tender. The honey gives it the good crust because the sugars in it caramelize. The seasonings stick well to the honey which is a plus. I don’t like to tent these with foil because then you don’t get that good crust on the outside plus it doesn’t need it for cooking through purposes.
I love to pair these with The Best Deviled Eggs, Potato Salad, and or these Jalapeno Poppers. Coleslaw, creamed corn, or baked beans are really good with them too.
These are really so good by themselves but if you like a saucy rib, your favorite barbecue sauce would be yummy on them. I would recommend putting the sauce on after they are done resting so that you get to keep that nice crust on the outside of the rib.
