These stuffed shells are filled with seasoned ground beef and a ricotta pesto mixture and then topped with cheese. An easy meal that tastes amazing!
These stuffed shells would be perfect for date night, family night, or to give as a nice gesture. It is so flavorful but also super easy to make. Have it ready to eat in just under an hour!
Using homemade pasta sauce in this would really take it over the top. I used my Roasted Cherry Tomato Sauce I made last summer, and it was incredible. I can’t wait to make more of it this coming gardening season and some other flavors I have ideas for. Recipes for those will hopefully be coming soon once my tomatoes take off!

Ingredients
- Large Pasta Shells
- Ground Beef
- Salt
- Pepper
- Ricotta Cheese
- Pesto
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Italian Seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Boil a large pot of water. Cook the large shells until aldente. Strain and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef. While it is cooking add the salt and pepper to it. Strain the grease and set aside.
- In a small bowl combine the ricotta cheese and the pesto. Stir together until well combined.
- Put the noodles on a sheet pan. Add a tablespoon of the ground beef inside of each noodle.
- In a 9×13 pan, put an even layer of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of the pan. Lay the meat stuffed shells in the sauce.
- Put a heaping tablespoon of the ricotta pesto mixture on top of each shell.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top and then do the same with the Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 20 minutes and then broil on Hi for 2 minutes.
- Serve with garlic bread.
