Enjoy these super easy to make pizza jalapeno poppers for any occasion! An appetizer that tastes amazing and cheap to make.
Jalapenos are growing in full force right now in my garden. The peppers are getting big enough to pick and of course they all seem to be ready at once. I picked about 2 pounds a few days ago. I pickled 1.5 pounds of them and then made these poppers with the rest of them. If you need a way to preserve a lot of jalapenos my Quick Pickled Jalapeno Peppers recipe is awesome. Super quick and easy to do and they taste amazing.
Poppers are my favorite way to enjoy fresh jalapenos. They are so versatile and just a super delicious appetizer or snack. I have a recipe that is more traditional, Jalapeno Poppers. It has a cream cheese-based filling which is most common for poppers. They are so good.
These pizza poppers though are so different, but in a good way. They taste like a supreme pizza, but without the crust. So, you get a bite of just the delicious toppings of a supreme pizza, which is the best part! I ate way more than my fair share when I made these. They are addictive! Don’t feel guilty enjoying these though, they are gluten free, low carb, and low calorie! Win, win, win!
